Visit of the official delegation of the Security Council of Tajikistan to Kazakhstan
DUSHANBE, 30.10.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Secretary of Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahim Qahhorov and the official delegation of the Security Council had a working visit to Astana. The visit was made by the invitation of Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Secretary of the Security Council of this country Vladimir Jumakanov on October 25th — 27th. NIAT “Khovar” was informed by the Office of the Security Council of Tajikistan.
During the meetings and negotiations the sides discussed the issues of cooperation between the Security Councils of the two countries, the current international and regional situation, including the military and political situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, cooperation in fight against terrorism and extremism, organized crime, drug trafficking, as well as cooperation in the fields of information, military and military-technical security, in the fight against illegal migration, in ensuring regulatory and legal conditions for Tajik labor migrants in this country.
The sides had agreed that regular bilateral workshops should be held regularly, where the important issues of security cooperation are discussed in both countries and in the region.
