DUSHANBE, 05.10.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his birthday.
During the conversation the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the progress made in entire scope of bilateral ties between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The parties also reaffirmed their commitment to work closely in order to bring relationships between the two neighboring countries to a qualitatively new level in accordance with the fundamental interests of their peoples.
Telephone conversation took place in an atmosphere of friendship, good faith and mutual understanding.
