Prime Minister of Tajikistan meets his Jordanian counterpart in Istanbul
DUSHANBE, 15.12.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda met on December 13 with the Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Hani al-Mulqi on the sidelines of the meeting of the heads of the Islamic Cooperation Organization in Istanbul.
According to the MFA Information Department, the counterparts highly assessed the results of the official visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on December 9-11 and had an exchange of views on mechanisms for the timely implementation of the agreements reached during this visit.
It was proposed that in the light of orders and instructions of the top leadership of Tajikistan and the Jordan to establish more contacts between the relevant ministries and departments of the two countries and to take concrete practical measures for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, investment, agriculture, energy, industry, science, education, culture and other priority areas.
Both parties had also an exchange of views on the regional and international topical problems of mutual interest.
The meeting was also attended by the Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Jordan, Sirodjidin Aslov, and Ayman Safadi.
