Tajikistan delegation attended the International Conference in Ashgabat
DUSHANBE, 12.12.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On December 11, 2017 in Ashgabat, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan took part at the international conference entitled «UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia: 10 years of cooperation for peace and regional prosperity.» The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseynzoda was represented and delivered a speech.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the conference, participants exchanged views on the ten-year experience of broad and effective cooperation within the Centre, as well as current and priority areas of concerted and joint efforts aimed at strengthening the seçurity and sustainable development in Central Asia.
The Head of the Tajikistan delegation during his speech invited the participants of this conference to take part in the international high-level conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028»,which is scheduled for June 2018 in Dushanbe.
At the same time, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the international conference entitled «Neutrality Policy and Preventive Diplomacy in International Relations: The Role and Practice of Turkmenistan».
The above-mentioned events were also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan Farrukh Sharifzoda.
