Conferment of state awards and ranks to military personnel
DUSHANBE, 21.02.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. At a meeting in the Palace of Nation dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented state awards to military personnel who had made a significant contribution to strengthening of the national Armed Forces, and for self-sacrifice and courage.
By his Executive Order, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan conferred on Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, lieutenant-general Sherali Mirzo the rank of Colonel General.
Lieutenant-General of the Guard Rajabali Rahmonali, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Commander-in-Chief of Border Guards of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan was conferred the rank of Colonel-General.
Major general Emomali Sobirzoda, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan was conferred the rank of lieutenant-general.
Major general Faizizoda Latifjon Mirzo, the Ministry of Defense Advisor (MoDA) was conferred the rank of lieutenant-general.
Colonel Egamzod Sharaf Khudoiberdi, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan was conferred the rank of major-general.
Colonel Donayorzoda Mehvarsho Zevar, the head of MOD Educational Department was conferred the rank of major-general.
Colonel Bachabekzoda Sayorabek Jiyoni, the Chief of Military Engineering Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan was conferred the rank of major-general.
Colonel Okhunzoda Ikhtiyor Nematullo, the Deputy Commander, head of ground forces main directorate of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan was conferred the rank of major-general.
Colonel Qurbonov Temur Payshanbievich, the First Deputy Commander, chief of Main Staff of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan was conferred the rank of major-general.
Colonel Rahimov Fozil Faizievich, the head of Military Security Department (MSD) at the CSTO Secretariat was conferred the rank of major-general.
Colonel Sultonzoda Sulaimon Said, the Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan was conferred special rank of major-general of justice.
Karimzoda Zainiddin Mahmadali, the Security Guard Commander of the Main Department on execution of criminal penalties of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan was conferred the rank of major-general of justice.

By other Executive Orders, President Emomali Rahmon conferred the Jasorat Medal on Asozod Abdulmumin Dodkhudo, the commander of the military unit of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ahmadjonzoda Anwar Ahmadjon, Chief of the Directorate of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defence Troops of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, Karimzod Azizullo Gado, the head of MOD Autotransport Directorate, Murodzoda Tuichi Ergash — commander of the MOD military unit, and Shohuseynzoda Dilovar Gado, the commander of the military unit of the air force and air defense of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Jasorat Medal is awarded for the faithful service of officers.
By other Executive Orders, President Emomali Rahmon conferred the Khizmati Shoista Medal on Qosimzoda Nazarahmad Qurbon, the head of the military transportation service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mirumshozoda Bakhtiyor Davlatsho, the head of the Military Training office of the Air Force and Air Defense Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, Nurzoda Zafar Gurez, the head of staff /first deputy commander of the military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kholmadzoda Bakhtiyor Kholmad, the deputy head of the Directorate/ head of the MOD military Inspectorate. The Khizmati Shoista Medal is awarded for the productive activity and exemplary military service.
