Meeting of Central Asia — EU Foreign Ministers held in Tashkent
DUSHANBE, 27.03.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On March 27, in the framework of Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan “Peace process, security cooperation and regional collaboration”, the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Central Asian countries and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini was held in the Format of Central Asia-European Union.
According to the MFA Information Department, during the meeting the sides discussed the regional cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, investment and technology, science and education.
Special attention has been given to the issue of stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan and its socio-economic development.
