President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan meets Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev of Kazakhstan
The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev to discuss a wide range of bilateral matters.
During the sincere meeting, the sides highlighted the process of development of sustainable partnership sharing the interests of the peoples of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
The head of state Emomali Rahmon expressed his satisfaction with quality of partner relationships during the past 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations and assessed that the signing of twelve documents held on an official visit would give a lasting step towards deepening and expanding cooperation.
It was noted that Tajik — Kazakh cooperation is actively developing in the field of economy, people-to-people contacts, science and security, and it should be used efficiently for the benefit of the parties.
The two sides also discussed cooperation in key areas, such as trade and economy, mining and light industry, transport and transit, energy, agriculture, tourism and others.
