DUSHANBE, 19.03.2018. /NIAT “Khovar” /. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The head of our state cordially congratulated Vladimir Putin on convincing victory in the election of the President of the Russian Federation, wished him further success in his state activities for the benefit of the prosperity of friendly Russia.
The heads of states highly appreciated the currently achieved level of bilateral interstate relations of their nations and expressed optimism over the prospects for their further development in the format of strategic partnership.
The sides also exchanged views on certain aspects of regional interaction and issues on the world agenda.
The conversation took place in an atmosphere of sincerity, friendship and mutual understanding, characteristic of the Tajik-Russian relations.
