Tajik Permanent Representative to the UN chaired the ECOSOC meeting “International cooperation in tax matters”
DUSHANBE, 21.05.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 18 May 2018 in the Economic and Social Council Chamber (ECOSOC) under the chairmanship of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations, Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov, in his capacity as the Vice-President of ECOSOC there was held a special meeting entitled “International cooperation in tax matters”.
NIAT «Khovar» has been reported by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations.
This meeting is held annually by ECOSOC to consider international cooperation in tax matters including, its contribution to mobilizing domestic financial resources for development and the institutional arrangements to promote such cooperation. This year’s special meeting will serve as an important opportunity to address emerging tax policy and administration issues related to the digitalization of the economy.
