Tajikistan and Azerbaijan agreed to establish direct business contacts between the two countries’ tourism structures
DUSHANBE, 07.06.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Rustam Soli on June 6 met with the newly appointed Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fuad Nagiyev.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, as well as the ways of its further development.
Tajik Ambassador informed the interlocutor about the tourism potential of Tajikistan and the Government’s efforts to develop the tourism industry of the republic.
Following discussion, the parties agreed to establish direct business contacts between the Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Agency for Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as travel companies of the two countries.
