Uzbekistan’s delegation got acquainted with the construction works at the Roghun HPP
DUSHANBE, 12.06.2018 /NIAT «Khovar»/. In the second half of June 12, the delegation of the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is in Tajikistan on a working visit, got acquainted with the progress of the construction works at Rogun HPP.
It should be noted that Rogun HPP will be constructed with a capacity of 3600 megawatts and a total value of $ 3.4 billion, which produces more than 17 billion kWh of power per year. This plant with producing “green energy”, i.e. without harmful emissions to atmosphere and compliance with modern ecological standards is considered one of the best hydroelectric power plants in the world, and according to the international specialists and experts it will be in the interests of Central Asia and South Asia.
