DUSHANBE, 09.07.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, heads of a number of ministries and agencies, Dushanbe chairman and chairmen of Dushanbe districts.

The discussion focused on preparations for celebration of the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and current socio-economic situation in the capital.

Other items on the agenda included preparation of the economy and social sectors of Dushanbe for sustainable work in the autumn-winter period 2018/2019.

Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to Dushanbe city Azim Ibrohim reported on the process of preparation of the capital city for celebration of the 30th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

It was stressed that to date, in order to fulfill the instructions and recommendations of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in cooperation with the Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe they developed general action plan and prepared a list of social and cultural facilities.

The list of social facilities includes schools, kindergartens, healthcare centers, various social, cultural and service facilities, mini-football pitches, squares and alleys that would be built by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe, local entrepreneurs prior to the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.

The President of the country Emomali Rahmon gave concrete instructions to members of the Government of the country and the Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe to intensify creative work and beautification, ensure environmental sustainability, enhance the quality performance of construction projects, ensure high quality repairs of secondary and higher educational institutions and their preparation for the new academic year, repair of local roads, improving employment and working conditions in health services and access of population to healthcare.

Other instructions were given to the leadership of the Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe in order to prepare the economy and social sectors of Dushanbe for sustainable work in the autumn-winter period 2018/2019, to provide heat and electricity and to conduct other creative work.
