US Embassy commends Tajik authorities on their professional and quick response to the incident in Danghara district
DUSHANBE, 31.07.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The US Embassy in Dushanbe posted a message on its website commending Tajik authorities on their professional and quick response to the incident in Danghara.
“The Embassy commends Tajik authorities on their professional and quick response to the incident, and we will continue to work closely with them on the ongoing investigation”,- reads the message of the US Embassy.
The Embassy also confirms that two American cyclists were killed in the Danghara district on July 29.
It is also reportedly said in the message that we condemn the senseless attack, offer our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and wish the injured a speedy recovery.
The U.S. Embassy has no evidence that indicates a heightened level of threat to U.S. citizens.
