A new project on developing the rural economy is being prepared in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 19.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Faiziddin Qahhorzoda, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with the World Bank mission headed by the Senior Project Coordinator of the World Bank’s Tajikistan Country Office Barbara Weber on September 18, the press service of the ministry reported.
According to the source, the meeting was aimed at discussing issues related to the preparation of a new project on developing the rural economy within the framework of the Partnership Strategy between the World Bank and the Republic of Tajikistan. It was noted that the project will be aimed at improving the socio-economic sustainability of rural areas in Khatlon and GBAO.
The parties agreed to continue constructive cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and the World Bank in the implementation of promising investment projects.
