DUSHANBE, 09.09.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. On September 9, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon accompanied by Dushanbe Chairman Rustami Emomali attended celebrations dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan in the capital “Navruzgoh”.

A large number of residents of the capital and foreign guests took part in the festive event.

It should be specially noted that the residents of the city of Dushanbe met the 27th anniversary of Independence with unprecedented achievements. Over the past year, the capital of our country – Dushanbe has acquired a new look with the various social, administrative, residential facilities, squares and avenues, sports grounds, the reconstruction of cultural and recreational parks and other structures. This success was achieved thanks to the people’s support of the creative policy of the Government of the country, as well as the efforts and measures taken by the leadership of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe.

During the speech, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, sincerely congratulated the glorious people of Tajikistan, compatriots living abroad, residents of the capital of our sovereign country and guests on our sacred national holiday — the 27th anniversary of the State independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The head of state stressed that during the period of independence every resident of the country works with a sense of patriotism in order to strengthen the foundations of the new statehood.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, expressed gratification that during the years of independence the appearance of the capital of the Tajik state — Dushanbe has radically changed, and as a result of the universal labor and patriotic spirit of the inhabitants, generous businessmen gain a new strength in the work of improving and ennobling the city. He expressed hope that the residents of Dushanbe will continue to exert a strong civil feeling and pride in their sovereign state for greater acceleration and expansion of works on improving the capital and residents of Dushanbe will turn their city into one of the most beautiful and developed cities.

Celebratory festivities in honor of the State Independence continued with an unforgettable and meaningful concert of artists representing the achievements of the period of independence.
