Representatives of Tajikistan told at the II Forum of SCO Young Leaders about achievements in youth policy
DUSHANBE, 22.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The II Forum of Young Leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization /SCO/ kicked off on September 20 in Khabarovsk, Russian Federation.
According to the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the forum was attended by political and public figures, entrepreneurs from nine SCO countries: Tajikistan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, Belarus and Russia, which for many years are actively implementing joint projects and programs in the field of education, entrepreneurship and humanitarian cooperation.
Representatives of Tajikistan made reports in which they told about the achievements of the Government of Tajikistan in the field of youth policy, cooperation with the youth of the SCO member states.
It is expected that the result of the forum will be the development of proposals and recommendations for inclusion in the agenda of the Summit of the SCO Heads of State and the meeting of the SCO Youth Council to be held in 2019. Also, following the results of the forum, the SCO International Youth News Agency and bilateral international youth business incubators will start their work in the SCO member states.
The forum was organized by representatives of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, the All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Youth Union”, etc.
The forum will last until September 23.
We will recall that I Forum of SCO Young Leaders was held on September 2016 in Omsk of Russian Federation. Then, proposals were developed to launch the first Youth Business Incubator in the space of the SCO member states and to hold the International Festival “SCO Countries’ Student Spring”.
