Ambassador of Tajikistan attended the China International Musical Instruments Expo
DUSHANBE, 04.12.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Ambassador of Tajikistan to the People’s Republic of China Parviz Davlatzoda attended the International Musical Instruments Expo and the 2nd International Forum for the Dialogue of Commerce and Culture, which were held on December 1-2 in the Chinese city of Bengbu, Anhui Province.
According to the MFA of Tajikistan, speaking at the forum opening ceremony, which was held in the Expo Park of Old Houses, Ambassador of Tajikistan to China Parviz Davlatzoda told about the country’s achievements in recent years, as well as the revival, development, and prosperity of the cultural heritage of the Tajiks. The Ambassador highly assessed the ongoing and sustainable development of bilateral relations in all areas, especially in the field of trade and economy, investment, and humanitarian cooperation.
As part of his visit, the Ambassador of Tajikistan met with Ma Guosiang, a member of the Chinese National Political Consultative Council, the Chairman of the Sanzhiang Corporation and the head of the Expo Park of Old Houses project, as well as with Zhang Xiaojing, the Vice Chairman of Bengbu city, and discussed the construction of the Tajik National House in the above-mentioned park.
On December 2, as part of these events, the Embassy of Tajikistan organized an exhibition dedicated to the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development, as well as a demonstration of the Tajik Chakan, recognized by UNESCO as the intangible cultural heritage of mankind.
The exhibition featured various publications and photographs about the cultural heritage, historical past and modern development of our country. The crafts of the Tajik masters attracted the attention of the exhibitors.
