DUSHANBE, 25.12.2018. (NIAT Khovar) – On December 25, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.4210 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.7324 TJS

1 Russian ruble = 0.1376 TJS.

Also on December 25, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – 9.4300 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6900 to 10.7400 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1370 to 0.1380 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
