Third Round of Tajik-French Political Consultations Held in Paris
DUSHANBE, 30.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The third round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the France took place on Tuesday in Paris.
During the consultations, the parties discussed a wide range of issues relating to multidimensional cooperation between Tajikistan and France, including in the fields of policy, trade, economy, hydropower, industry, health, education, science, culture and tourism, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The fight against modern challenges and threats, as well as issues related to strengthening relations within international organizations and regional cooperation also proved to be productive, according to the source.
Following the consultations, the parties confirmed their deep mutual interest in further enhancing cooperation.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muzaffar Huseinzoda led the Tajik delegation, with Director of the Department of Continental Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Florence Mangin leading the French delegation.
Both the Tajik Ambassador to France Jamoliddin Ubaidullo and the French Ambassador to Tajikistan Yasmine Gouedard also participated in the consultations.
