Dushanbe-Chanak Highway Reopened
DUSHANBE, 06.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The traffic on Dushanbe-Chanak highway is now open for all vehicles except for cars with trailers and trucks, reported Daler Abdullo, the head of the Press Center of the branch of the international company Innovative Road Solutions LTD (IRS) in Tajikistan.
“The traffic was temporarily suspended yesterday morning on the basis of a joint requirement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan due to weather conditions. The IRS employees liquidated 56 small avalanches yesterday, 50 of which fell on the Varzob region and 6 others on the Zarafshon valley,” he noted.
