President Emomali Rahmon Chaired A Meeting Of The Government Of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 28.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On February 28, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy Orif Khojazoda reported on the state of land resources and their allocation by value categories, types of land and land users, up until January 1, 2019.
A number of draft laws were the focus of the discussion, including On Martial Law, On State Revenue Duty, On the State Tax Code, and On the Customs Code, which were sent for consideration to the Assembly of Representatives.
The Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali spoke about the list of value-added tax (VAT) exempted commodities that are imported by the state unitary enterprise Production, Purchase and Sale of Basic Necessities in Dushanbe.
The Minister of Industry and Modern Technologies Zarobiddin Fayzullozoda reported on the Non-Ferrous and Ferrous Metallurgy Development Program until 2025.
Other subjects of discussion included the National Program for Social Development of Youth for 2019-2021, Action Plan for theImplementation of the 300 Days of Reforms Initiative to Support Entrepreneurship and Improve the Investment Climate in Tajikistan, creating the Kulob Free Economic Zone and issues relating to making changes and addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On local self-government bodies of Towns and Villages” and “On organization of summer camp for children and teenagers in 2019”.
In closing, the head of the government instructed government officials to complete the tasks mentioned at the State of the Nation Address, as well as to prepare a comprehensive plan for the international Navruz holiday celebrations and the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence.
Instructions were also issued regarding the spring sowing campaign, planting trees, rational use of electricity andproviding material assistance to those in need on the eve of Navruz.
