President Nominates New Commissioner for Human Rights in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 04.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – According to Article 69 of the Constitution of Tajikistan, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has nominated Bobozoda Umed’s candidacy for the post of Human Rights Commissioner. Rahmon’s nomination has been sent to the Assembly of Representatives for approval.
Emomali Rahmon has also sent his proposal to relieve Alizoda Zarif, who is the current Human Rights Commissioner in Tajikistan.
