DUSHANBE, 28.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – While on his working visit to Beijing, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the scientists of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

The presentation of President Emomali Rahmon’s book Tajiks in the Mirror of History took place during the meeting.

While commenting on the book, the President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Xie Fuzhan, and the General Director of the People’s Literature Publishing House Renmin, along with a well-known Chinese historian noted President Emomali Rahmon’s outstanding contribution to the development and expansion of the Tajik – Chinese relations and strengthening the goodwill between the two nations.

During his address, President Emomali Rahmon spoke positively about the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences’ contribution to the social and scientific life of the country and beyond China’s borders.

“We believe that our great neighbor, China, is a reliable friend and a sincere partner and [we are] satisfied with its sustainable development. We are witnessing China’s intensive development in all spheres of economy and public life, strengthening the country’s authority in the international arena,» said President Emomali Rahmon, also expressing his gratitude to the people who had contributed to the Chinese edition of his book.

The book was published by the People’s Literature Publishing House Renmin.
