Tajik-Kyrgyz Border Demarcation Discussed in Bishkek
DUSHANBE, 09.07.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of the 15th Central Asia-EU ministerial meeting which took place on July 7 in Bishkek, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin met with the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov .
They counterparts discussed issues relating to cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan and ways to solve existing problems, including the delimitation and demarcation of the state border, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
The Tajik side reiterated the need to sign the agreement on the state border between the two countries taking into account the previously agreed border line.
