Tajik Delegation Attends SCO’s National Coordinators Council Meeting
DUSHANBE, 23.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The next meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) took place on August 20-23 in Moscow under Russian chairmanship.
The delegation of Tajikistan headed by the Ambassador on Special Assignments, the National Coordinator of Tajikistan for SCO Affairs Nazirmad Alizoda attended the meeting, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Opening the meeting, the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Morgulov acquainted the participants with the priorities of his country’s chairmanship in the SCO for 2019-2020.
During the meeting, the national coordinators of the SCO member states discussed the preparations for the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the SCO member states, which will be held on November 2019 in Tashkent, and the SCO Key Events Plan for 2020.
