President Emomali Rahmon Lays foundation stone for electrical equipment-manufacturing enterprise
DUSHANBE, 17.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali laid the foundation stone for the construction of electrical equipment-manufacturing enterprise in the metropolitan area of Sino.
The enterprise will be built per President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions. It will be financed by Tajikhydroelectromontazh and will manufacture 0.4 kV low-voltage control devices, a range of panels, including control and protection relay panels, 6kv/10kv/20kv high voltage electrical switchgear, complete transformer substation, various iron electric pole for electricity transmission, iron tower for power substation among other products.
The annual manufacturing capacity of the enterprise is estimated to reach 1,000 units of 0.4 kV low voltage control devices, 500 units of 6kv/10kv/20kv high voltage electrical switchgear and more than 200 units of complete transformer substation.
The company will import its equipment from Europe, Turkey and the People’s Republic of China. The company is expected to open its doors on the eve of the 30th anniversary of state independence.
The construction of such enterprises is an important step toward import-substitution, production of export-oriented products and reaching the fourth national goal, — rapid industrialization.
During his familiarization with the project designs, President Emomali Rahmon welcomed the initiative of the management of Tajikhydroelectromontazh towards building a modern industrial enterprise and during the conversation gave specific instructions to responsible persons on the quality of work and the use of high-quality building material and the timely completion of the plan.
In addition, President Emomali Rahmon accompanied by Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali attended the unveiling ceremony of the newly-built stone processing enterprise, Zirkon LLC.
The company can process more than 180,000 square meters of stones annually. The company is financed by direct investments amounting to 55 million somoni.
Stones are sourced from local natural deposits in Shahritus, Shahristan, Rudaki, Vanch and Varzob. Marble mined in the deposits of our country is included in the group of rare stones and is considered the best in quality. Tajik stones are on a par with the famous stones of the world.
Following his acquaintance with the activities of the company, President Emomali Rahmon praised the construction work and expressed gratitude to the builders.
