Tajik Football Coach Toshev Commented on the Results of the Match Against Mongolia
DUSHANBE, 11.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The head coach of the national football team of Tajikistan Usmon Toshev and the team’s defender Davronjon Ergashev, who was named the best player in the World Cup-2022 qualifying match against Mongolia, commented on the match’s results.
“We had a difficult match. We knew that the Mongolian team is a very good and fighting team. We did not succeed, but the most important thing for us was to take three points and keep first place in the group,” said Toshev.
“Now we are waiting for a difficult home match against Japan, which is one of the giants of Asian football. We will carefully prepare for this match,” added Toshev.
“On the eve our republic celebrated Independence Day, and we devote the victory over Mongolia to all the Tajik people. I want to thank all the fans for their support,” noted Ergashev.
«Before the game, Usmon Kudratovich had said that ‘whoever wins the fight, will win the match.’ We managed to win three points. And this is the most important thing,” concluded Ergashev.
