Tajikistan Will Export Siyoma Bottled Water to the UAE
DUSHANBE, 12.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – In the future, Tajikistan is expecting to export environmentally friendly agricultural products, as well as bottled water produced by one of the leading Tajik companies Avesto Group to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This issue was discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tajikistan Jamshed Jumakhonzoda with the Chairman of the CCI Ras Al Khaimah Mohamed Ali Musabbeh Al Nuaimi.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the establishing cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce of Tajikistan and the Ras Al Khaimah, inter-chamber relations, trade and economic interaction between the private sectors of Tajikistan and the UAE.
The parties also discussed the prospects for bilateral economic relations, including ways of developing cooperation between entrepreneurs, creating joint ventures, attracting private investment and advanced technologies to priority sectors of the Tajik economy.
“Our countries are bound by their willingness to move towards strengthening mutually beneficial ties. The development of cooperation between our chambers will undoubtedly become key to enhancing cooperation between business circles,” said Jumakhonzoda.
“Undoubtedly, this will serve as the beginning of a mutually beneficial business partnership. The importance of Tajikistan’s rapprochement with the Arab world is evidenced by the expanding process of establishing direct business contacts,” added Jumakhonzoda.
The head of the Tajik CCI outlined the real areas of cooperation, emphasizing the high potential for the formation of joint ventures in such priority sectors as development of mineral deposits, energy, gas and oil production, food, light industry, processing industry, transport, construction industry, pharmaceuticals, industrial cooperation, information technology, tourism, as well as attracting investment in the Tajik economy. This can be facilitated by the benefits and preferences available in Tajikistan, taken by the country’s government.
The parties agreed to take concrete steps to intensify inter-chamber and business relations, primarily, to exchange business missions, business information as well as exhibition and fair activities, and to this end in the near future to sign a memorandum of cooperation.
The meeting was held as part of the working visit of Jumakhonzoda to Dubai to attend a meeting of a technical group of international participants of EXPO 2020. The Ambassador of Tajikistan to the UAE Bahodur Sharifi, and the Avesto Group’s Executive Director Zafar Burhonzoda also attended the meeting.
