Tajikistan and India Discuss Energy Cooperation
DUSHANBE, 22.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Ambassador of Tajikistan to India Sulton Rahimzoda met with Indian Minister of State for Power, New & Renewable Energy Raj Kumar Singh.
The meeting focused on tcooperation between in the field of energy, including participation in the development of Tajikistan’s hydropower potential with further development of industry through investment projects, implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy, especially solar power stations, exchange of experience and conducting of trainings.
The two officials noted the immense unutilized potential of the sector and expressed their interest in further developing cooperation on this basis.
