Emomali Rahmon Sends Condolences to Sayyid Fahd Bin Mahmoud Al Said Over Death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said of Oman
DUSHANBE, 11.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a condolence message to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers in the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Fahd Bin Mahmoud Al Said.
The message reads:
“Excellency,
It is with great sadness that I received the news of the passing of an outstanding political figure — Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said of Oman.
He was one of the most well-known in the country, region and the world as an outstanding and successful politician and statesman.
While in office as a Sultan of Oman he had passed many reforms and made a great contribution toward peaceful life and progress and prosperity of Oman.
We remember Qaboos bin Said Al Said’s contribution to the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Oman.
In connection with this great loss, on behalf of the government and the people of Tajikistan I express my deepest condolences to the brotherly people of Oman and convey the words of sympathy and support to the relatives and friends of the deceased.
May the great Allah rest his soul in peace!
