DUSHANBE, 17.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On February 17, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 9.6966 TJS,

1 Euro – 10.5150 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1518 TJS.

Also on February 17, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6966 to 9.7000 TJS

1 Euro – from 10.5150 to 10.6500 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1518 to 0.1548 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
