President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon Made New Appointments
DUSHANBE, 04.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the newly appointed government and law enforcement officials.
During the conversation, President Emomali Rahmon focused on the implemention of instructions following his Presidential Address to the Supreme Assembly pertaining to the enhancement of economy, education and scientific spheres, and ensuring security and stability.
“The interests of the state and the nation and protecting the achievements of the independence must be the sacred duty of every civil servant and soldiers,” said Emomali Rahmon.
By the presidential executive orders, Mirzozoda Safarali Rahim, who has served as Deputy Prosecutor General — Chief Military Prosecutor of Tajikistan will now serve as the Deputy Commander of Tajikistan’s Border Guard Forces responsible for political and educational affairs, replacing Shohiyon Abdusattor.
By a government decree Shohiyon Abdusattor has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Defense.
President Emomali Rahmon also submitted for consideration by the National Assembly the candidacy of Zoirzoda Ikrom Oimahmad for the post of Deputy Prosecutor General — Chief Military Prosecutor of Tajikistan.
Likewise, by governmental decrees a number of changes were made to the positions of the deputies of Ministry of Education and Sciences, the leadership of the administration of free economic zones of Kulob, Danghara, Panj, Director of National Library of Tajikistan and its deputies, military commissioners of the Dushanbe, Sughd and Khatlon, military unit commanders, Defense Attaché in number of Tajikistan’s Embassies abroad, chiefs of border guard detachments and SCNC Border Troops Training Center.
