Tajik Foreign Ministry Urges Citizens to Refrain from Traveling to China
DUSHANBE, 01.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan due to the spread of a new type of coronavirus in China recommends country’s citizens refrain from traveling to this country.
“We ask all Tajik citizens located in China to provide information and their contact details (name, place and purpose of stay in China, as well as a mobile phone number) to the Tajik Embassy in Beijing via e-mail tajembbeijing@mfa.tj or by Phones: +8618511786686 (Suhrob Kodirov), +8618514270747 (Amriddin Nosirov) and +8613522787975 (Faromuz Pirmuhamedov). The Embassy’s address: Beijing, No.LA 01-04, Liangmaqiao Diplomatic Compound,” the statement of the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The cases of charging with a new coronavirus have not been registered among Tajik citizens.
The Foreign Ministry also calls on citizens to remain calm, to comply with the rules of the host country and the necessary measures to prevent the disease.
The Tajik Embassy in Beijing is constantly monitoring the situation around the spread of coronavirus in China, as well as providing the necessary assistance to Tajik citizens.
