FM Muhriddin Meets with Qatari Counterpart Al-Thani
DUSHANBE, 01.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On February 29 in Doha, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Muhriddin met with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Qatar in political, economic, investment and other areas of mutual interest, reports the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties underlined the importance of further contacts and coordination of foreign policy initiatives between institutions of the two countries in the implementation of the agreements reached between President Emomali Rahmon and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The two parties also exchanged views on international and regional issues.
