Meeting of the Government of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 30.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presided over a regular session of the government of Tajikistan.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the governmental decree “About the Program of development of carpet weaving in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period 2014-2020”. The Minister of Industry and Modern Technologies Zarobuddin Fayzullozoda presented a report on the matter. Within the framework of the program four carpet enterprises have been launched for production.
Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda updated the participants on preparation for the heating season of 2020-2021.
Government members discussed the bills which have been submitted to the Assembly of Representatives for consideration, including the draft laws “On the State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2020”, “On evaluation activity”, “On state registration of acts of civil status” and «On licensing of certain types of activities».
The meeting participants also discussed the national program on protecting intangible cultural heritage for 2021-2025 and procedures for the registration of the mobile devices.
The Minister of health care and social protection of the population Nasim Olimzoda spoke about the preventing the spread of the coronavirus infection.
Other issues discussed include the observance of personal hygiene, the readiness of public health facilities to provide patients’ health care, the construction of public health care facilities in Dushanbe and Dangara district and to equipped its with state-of-the-art medical equipments.
At the end of the government meeting, President Emomali Rahmon called for the timely fulfillment of the set tasks and instructed members of the government, government agencies regarding implementation of the Presidential Address to the Supreme Assembly, revitalization of industrial enterprises, spring planting, development of poultry and fishing farming, increase of agricultural production and providing an abundance of essential products in the market as well as preparation for upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence.
