Navruz Programs Will Be Held in a Limited Format to Prevent Coronavirus Outbreak
DUSHANBE, 05.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – All mass celebrations in the parks of culture and recreation of the country during the Navruz holiday will be held in a limited format in order to prevent the a coronavirus outbreak, reports the Tajik Ministry of Culture.
Additionally, Navruz programs at the republican level will be held with a limited number of invited guests and artists.
According to the instructions of the permanent headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan, preparations for Navruz with the participation of students and pupils have been cancelled.
According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan, to date, no case of coronavirus infection has been confirmed in the country. The measures taken by the government are implemented solely to prevent an outbreak.
