Dushanbe Hosts East-West International Festival on Eurasian Folk Crafts

DUSHANBE, 25.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 23, the Abulkosim Lohuti Tajik State Academic Drama Theater hosted the international festival “East — West: Eurasian musical traditions and folk crafts in the cultural space of the Commonwealth of Independent States.”
Artisans from all over the republic and representatives of eleven countries presented the best examples of their folk crafts, which were created entirely thanks to the most elegant and valuable craft — handmade products.
Craftsmen presented their creations to the guests and festival participants, as well as talked about the history of origin, manufacturing methods and the importance of handmade crafts.
The country’s artisans and guests were awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan.
In conclusion, Tajik art masters raised the spirits of the guests and participants by presenting an excellent cultural program.
It was emphasized that culture and art united all nations in this spiritual atmosphere, it is the magical power of art and a cultural outlook that contribute to a joyful, happy and long life.
