Labor Minister Jabborzoda Holds Online Meeting with the Heads of the Ministry’s Representations in Russia
DUSHANBE, 15.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On Wednesday, the Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population Gulru Jabborzoda held an online working meeting with the heads and employees of the ministry’s representations in Russia.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to protection of the rights and interests of Tajik labor migrants in Russia during the pandemic, timely resolution of their appeals and problems, coordination of activities of the Tajik diaspora and communities to facilitate and assist migrant workers, assistance in providing employment to labor migrants in the Russian regions, and organization of informational and explanatory work among labor migrants.
Representations’ employees in collaboration with the Tajik embassy, consulates and diasporas in Russia are constantly working to address the problems of migrants.
In this regard, the heads and employees of representations in the Urals, Volga, Siberia, South and North-West of Russia, Moscow and St. Petersburg provide a detailed report on the current situation of Tajik citizens in Russia.
Following the meeting, while considering the analysis of the current situation of labor migrants in Russia, Jabborzoda gave specific instructions to representation employees to address existing problems.
