Tajikistan and Iran Intend to Introduce New Diagnostic and Treatment Methods

DUSHANBE, 28.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with the Ambassador of Iran to Tajikistan Alireza Haghighian.
Abdullozoda noted the mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of healthcare and social protection of the population.
It was noted that various areas of hygiene, treatment and medical science in Iran, such as cardiac surgery, treatment of eye diseases, hip replacement, joint prosthetics, are world famous, and can give a serious impetus to the continuation of cooperation in the development of healthcare and social protection of the population.
It was hoped that cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in the field of healthcare will continue to strengthen.
The parties exchanged views and discussed issues of mutual interest, in particular, the introduction of new diagnostic and treatment methods, processing of local medicinal plants and other issues.
