Committee for Tourism Development Discusses Establishing Anti-Crisis Support Fund
DUSHANBE, 23.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The issue of establishing a tourism anti-crisis support fund was discussed in a video conference initiated by the Committee for Tourism Development.
The Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Shirin Amonzoda, representatives of development partners and international donors attended the video conference.
“Per President Emomali Rahmon’s support, tourism related businesses are being supported through tax and customs benefits,” said Amonzoda.
“The Committee for Tourism Development proposes to establish an anti-crisis fund to support tourism in order to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on the industry. The fund is aimed at supporting tourism entities at all levels of the industry chain,” added Amonzoda.
The event participants exchanged views on this issue and expressed interest in cooperation.
