President Emomali Rahmon had a Telephone Conversation with Chairmen of Cities and Districts
DUSHANBE, 09.06.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a number of telephone conversations with the chairmen of Panjakent, Devashtich, Rasht, Nurobod, Tojikobod, Sangvor and Lakhsh.
The discussions focused on the socioeconomic situation in the region, in particular field works, harvesting of grain, vegetables and fruits, and sowing of potatoes. The discussions also covered measures being taken to deal with the spread of COVID-19.
President Rahmon gave specific instructions to the officials on increasing the harvesting plan and supplying the domestic market with quality and organic local products.
Other instructions dealt with improving patient-centered care, providing medical personnel with personal protective equipment, medicine and food as well promoting better sanitation and hygiene among population and social service centers.
President Rahmon instructed the chairmen about establishing infectious disease hospitals in each city and district, repairing and renovating schools, preparing all the socio-economic sectors for the upcoming autumn-winter period, and ensuring the sufficient provision of fuel and food supplies.
