Over 200 Buildings and Structures in Dushanbe Will Be Connected to Heating Networks

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – In the autumn-winter period of 2020-2021, in order to provide Dushanbe residents with electricity and heat in the capital networks, it is planned to increase heat production to 500 Gcal / hour. Over 200 social and economic facilities of Dushanbe will be connected to heating networks, which will bring the total number of heat supply facilities in the capital to 2511 units. This was said today by the First Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe Mahmadsaid Zuvaydzoda at a press conference.
Zuvaydzoda also added that during the reporting period, 32 modern stops for public transportation have been built in Dushanbe. Nineteen kilometers worth of repairs and reconstruction of roads and bridges have been completed. Construction of two irrigation facilities with a length of 3.1 km and bank protection works totalling 3.3 km have also been brought to a finish.
It was noted that in order to increase the number of rare tree species, 6,444 ornamental shrubs, shade and shrubby trees have been imported and planted in the last six months. During the planting season, 122,900 shrub trees have been planted in the streets and squares, likewise 11.4 million seasonal flowers have been planted in an area of 257,300 square meters throughout the city.
