Rustami Emomali met with World Bank delegation
DUSHANBE, 26.07.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Chairman of Dushanbe city Rustami Emomali met yesterday, July 25 with a World Bank delegation led by World Bank Permanent Representative in the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Jan-Peter Olters.
According to the Department of Public Information and External Affairs at Dushanbe mayor’s office, during the meeting the current state and prospects of cooperation between Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe city and the World Bank within the second city water supply project — DWSP2 were discussed.
The parties have agreed on the issues to provide population of Dushanbe with quality drinking water and improve the level of maintenance of the water purification system in the implementation of a number of new projects.
Both parties having highly praised the significant contribution of the International Development Association of the World Bank in strengthening of cooperation, noted that to date within financial assistance of this Association there have been done a lot of works in providing the population with drinking water and other elements related to it in Dushanbe city.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
