Over 240 Citizens Returned from Europe and America

DUSHANBE, 30.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Per President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions, over 240 citizens who had been unable to return home due to the termination of international flights, were flown from Europe and America to Tajikistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, yesterday 80 Tajiks, and earlier, on July 8, 161 citizens were flown home to Tajikistan.
They were transported by a chartered Somon Air flight from Frankfurt.
Last Monday during a press conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin noted that a total of 16,400 Tajiks who were stranded abroad due to the termination of international flights are now home.
