The newly-appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan handed over copies of his credentials to the Foreign Minister of Algeria
DUSHANBE, 22.02.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On February 20, 2017 the newly appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan to Algeria Khusrav Noziri handed over copies of his credentials to Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Ramtane Lamamra.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, while welcoming the appointment of Tajikistan’s first Ambassador to his country, emphasized the importance of this event for the further development of the bilateral Tajik-Algerian relations.
Referring to the first official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria paid on March 10-12, 2008, in which the package of important bilateral agreements was signed, the Algerian Foreign Minister pointed out that that visit has laid a strong and solid foundation for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two friendly countries in various areas.
At the end of the meeting the sides stressed the need to continue and strengthen the fruitful cooperation between the two countries both on bilateral basis and within international and regional organizations.
