Over 260 Tajik Citizens Returned from Kazakhstan

DUSHANBE, 30.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, 261 Tajik citizens returned from Kazakhstan.
They were temporarily at the Zhibek Zholy checkpoint on the Kazakh-Uzbek border, unable to return due to border closures. They were transported by buses.
Since March 16, due to the declaration of a state of emergency in Kazakhstan and the introduction of restrictive measures in Uzbekistan in connection with COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions on entry to the territory of both countries were imposed.
