Tajik Citizens Repatriated from Syria by President Emomali Rahmon’s Direct Instruction

DUSHANBE, 25.07.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tonight, 146 Tajik citizens were repatriated from Syria per President Emomali Rahmon’s instructions.
Of this number, 42 are women and 104 are children.
The main goal of this initiative is to deliver Tajik children from hopelessness, to repatriate them from the war-torn country to a peaceful life in their native state.
According to the instructions of President Rahmon, all measures are being taken to care for them and repatriate them to peaceful life.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that in collaboration with other relevant bodies, it will make every effort to fully repatriate the remaining Tajik citizens from Syria.
