President Emomali Rahmon Attends the Opening Ceremony for Two Technological Lines at the Water Bottling Plant Obi Zulol in Istaravshan
DUSHANBE, 01.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the opening ceremony for two technological lines at the water bottling plant Obi Zulol in Istaravshan. These technological lines will produce soft drinks, juices, fruit nectars, and baby foods.
Within the framework of implementation of the fourth national goal, — rapid industrialization of the country and 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence the management of company has established two new production lines with no analogues in Central Asia.
Obi Zulol was established in 2000, and its production capacity is gradually increasing. The company began its activity with the production of soft carbonated and non-carbonated drinks with RC and Obi Zulol brands. The production capacity of these lines is from 14 to 20,000 liters of soft carbonated and noncarbonated beverages per hour and 82.8 million liters per year. The production capacity of juices from local natural fruits is 5,000 bottles per hour, while for processed foods it is 5 to 7,000 kilograms of fruit per hour or 25,000 tonnes yearly. The company also produces 12 million bottles of baby food, juices and fruit jams yearly, with 60% of which is exported.
With the new more modern production line designed for making soft drinks and juices has begun to use the technology of hot and cold pouring into glass bottles with a capacity of 0.33 and 0.5 liters. The production capacity of the line per hour is 5000 glass bottles and 8.4 million liters during the year.
While visiting the Devashtich district, President Rahmon attended the opening ceremony for a new district hospital No. 5, which has been provided with the state-of-the-art medical equipment financed by a local businessman.
President Rahmon also visited the Sherdil farm and toured the Exhibition of Agricultural Goods, which showcased the best varieties of local fruits and vegetables.
