New Hotels and Craft Centers Will Be Built in Panjakent

DUSHANBE, 02.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – In honor of ancient Sarazm’s 5500th anniversary, four hotels will be built in Penjikent and six craft centers at the entrance to the archaeological reserve.
The Committee for Tourism Development (CTD) and officials of Panjakent administration recently got reacquainted with the progress of work in the tourist facilities under construction dedicated to Sarazm’s 5500th anniversary.
According to the CTD, a number of objects and historical and cultural monuments, structures of the tourism sector are also being erected.
“In order to maximize the presentation of tourism opportunities, domestic travel agencies in collaboration with the CTD and Zarafshon’s Tourism Development Association have developed 12 tourist routes covering cultural, historical and ecological zones. Promotional and informational materials published by the committee cover the region’s opportunities, and a tourist guide to Panjakent will be published,” reported the CTD.
