Tajik Artisans Showcased National Art at the International Festival of Folk Crafts in Uzbekistan
DUSHANBE, 17.09.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The International Festival of Folk Crafts was held from September 10 through September 15 in Kokand, Uzbekistan.
The Tajik Minister of Culture Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda attended the festival as an honored guest.
Along with artists from dozens of other countries, eight Tajik artisans took part in the festival and presented high national art.
Various programs were also organized during the festival, including a conference and a round table, where the development of handicrafts, the preservation of existing traditions in the industry and other important topics were discussed.
